McHenry County Historic
Preservation Commission
The
McHenry County Board Historic Preservation Commission was established in
November of 1991 in concurrence with the enactment of the McHenry County
Historic Preservation Ordinance by the McHenry County Board. The McHenry
County Historic Preservation Commission
is part of the McHenry County Department of Planning and Development, 2200 North
Seminary, Woodstock, IL 60098, (815)334-4560.
Some activities of the Commission include:
• Preservation of landmarks
• McHenry County Old-House Support Group
• Educational events about McHenry County history
