Annual Events in Cary:
- In early Spring the Community Showcase
(formerly the Cary-Grove Home and Business Expo)
is presented
by the
Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce at the Cary-Grove High School, admission is free. The
Showcase is family
oriented with special raffles, food, entertainment and a craft fair. Exhibitors are local
businesses and organizations.
- Each May, the Memorial Day parade proceeds South,
down First Street towards
Cary Veterans Park, where a commemorative ceremony is held.
- Cary Days are presented by the
Cary-Grove Jaycees at Lions Park, in late June. A family event, Cary
Days include rides, food, and live entertainment. To coincide with
Independence Day, fireworks
are generally displayed on the last night of the event.
- A Halloween parade and costume contest is held in Downtown
Cary each October.
- The Merry Cary Holiday Celebration and Parade is
presented by the
Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce each December in downtown Cary.
The parade and other family activities help to celebrate the holidays.
